Worship Ministry

I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

Psalm 9:1-2 NKJV

Music has always been an integral part of people's lives in relation to God. We see songs being sung and music being played all throughout the Bible. In fact, singing appears to be a reflection of God's character in people: "The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17. At Calvary Chapel French Valley, we view singing songs to God as an opportunity to pour out our hearts of love to him. We gather together in song each Sunday to celebrate His grace and mercy, and to remember how He continues to work in our current trials.

Walk with God! Genesis 5:21-24 – A topical message by Brandon Ingram

Pastor Brandon Ingram shares a topical message. In this sermon we will look at the life of Enoch who lived over 4,500 years ago. After living for 65 years Enoch was made aware through the prophetic name of his son Methusaleh that there would be a coming judgment and that his time in this life was limited. For the remainder of his life He walked with God by placing his personal relationship with God as the number one priority, love and passion of his life. As we approach this coming new year these lessons from the life of Enoch are of vital importance for us to heed and take seriously. Like Enoch our time here on this earth is also limited and we must follow Enoch’s example in putting our relationship with God as the highest priority in our lives. This is summarized by walking in a love relationship with God, keeping ourselves undefiled from the pollution of this world and shining the light of the love of Christ by leading and shepherding others into an eternal relationship with God. Enoch's life on this earth eventually ended when he was taken to heaven miraculously which is also our eternal hope in Christ. Brandon has served as a missionary in Indonesia for over 20 years. He was ordained as a pastor by Calvary Chapel French Valley in 2016. For more information about what is going on at Calvary Chapel French Valley, go to http://ccfv.life.
