Women's Life Groups!
Women's Life Groups are open for joining!
Our women are currently going through the book of 1 Peter. This book is very relevant to the things going on in our society today! We are not using a study guide, instead we are just studying the Word itself, going through it verse-by-verse. We want to see what God has to say to us during these uncertain times!
We hope you will join us on Thursday mornings (10 am) or Thursday evenings (7 pm). No signup is needed…just come online and have your Bible ready.
Because of COVID-19, we are currently meeting on online with Zoom! Below are the links to connect:

Calling on the Name of the Lord! Genesis 4:1-26
Pastor Rick continues a verse-by-verse study through the book of Genesis. Chapter four begins by describing the birth of the first two children born to Adam and Eve. What follows is the tragic tale of Cain and Abel. Both grew up worshipping God; one according to God’s commands and one as he thought best. Cain’s response to God’s rejection of his self-willed offering and the subsequent murder of his brother Abel are all the evidence we need that sin has fully entered the human heart. Our society today is following the way of Cain. How do we as Christians find our God-ordained purpose in this sin-wrecked world? Genesis is the book of beginnings. Within the fifty chapters that make up this fascinating book of the Old Testament God exercises His creative power to bring the universe into existence by simply telling it to do so. Later we will see the creation of a special people with the calling of Abram. The Law is given later. Sadly, sin mars God’s ‘very good’ creation and so we also see the creation of a plan to redeem mankind back to the One True God. This very old book is very relevant to today. Rick is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel French Valley in Murrieta, California. For more information about what is going on at Calvary Chapel French Valley, go to http://ccfv.life.
