UPLIFTING PRAYER!

Weekly Prayer List

Week of January 10, 2021

One of the ways God chooses to interact with His people is via prayer. When we pray out of faith and obedience, we are aligning our heart and mind with God's.

Here is a list of things we prayed about during the service that we would like you to partner with in lifting up to our loving Father in Heaven.

Pray for the U.S. - Last week's unrest does not speak well for the future of this nation we love. We look forward to our future home in heave, but while we wait the Lord to come get us, let us pray for the peace of our nation. "And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace." Jeremiah 29:7

Comfort during pandemic - A number of families in the church have tested positive for COVID. Thankfully, we are not aware of anyone being exposed to the virus at church. Let's pray for quick healing and God's comfort as those families navigate this difficult thing. Pray also about what you might do to bless those who are struggling.

New Facility for CCFV - God has blessed us with a new place. Let's agree in prayer praising God for His gracious provision. Also, please pray for wisdom, protection, and provision as we look for ways to glorify God, bless others, and grow faith through this new place.

Prayers during COVID-19 Pandemic

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is worldwide. The number of things that we could be praying about is endless. For the purpose of this post, here are just a few.

The sick and infected - Pray for healing and the stop of the spread of the virus.

The vulnerable - Some people are more vulnerable to this virus than most of the population. Pray for God's protection.

Local, state, and federal governments - Pray for God's wisdom and humility on how to best protect people and lead them through this pandemic.

Frontline healthcare workers - Pray for protection, strength, endurance, and love so that they can finish this difficult race.

Things we should always be praying about

Our government - As our government prepares to go through a change of leadership, pray for peace and unity. Our local, state, and federal government leaders need our prayers. Many of them are trying to lead without God's wisdom. So, they use man's wisdom and their decisions reflect the lost nature of their soul. Pray that the Holy Spirit would lead them to God-honoring decisions.

Israel - The nation of Israel will forever be God's people and the land of Israel will forever belong to the Jews. Pray for God's protection and that they would come to know their Messiah Jesus Christ! They are headed to a fourth election in March. Pray for God's will to be done in that election.

Leadership of the church - God doesn't need people to accomplish His will but He chooses to use them. In the church God raises up men to lead the church to accomplish His will in the world around them. This is not always an easy task. Pray for God's wisdom and the endurance they need to run the race set before them.
