Zechariah

A Glorious Future!

Zechariah is the longest of the Minor Prophets. This book is unique in that it contains more references to the End Times and the Messiah than virtually any other book in the Old Testament. In this marvelous book is a picture of the glorious future God has planned for the Jews. And because we are in Christ, Christians can learn a lot about the glorious future God has in store for them as well. And if we are open to it, a study of the future will help us to live a life that glorifies God today.

Faith and God’s Good! Genesis 50:1-26

Pastor Rick concludes a verse-by-verse study through the book of Genesis. The Bible says that God is good. God is good all the time! But how do we see that when the things around us are evil? As we look at the last chapter of Genesis Rick will show us how through Joseph’s response to his brothers after the death of their father. Genesis is the book of beginnings. Within the fifty chapters that make up this fascinating book of the Old Testament God exercises His creative power to bring the universe into existence by simply telling it to do so. Later we will see the creation of a special people with the calling of Abram. The Law is given later. Sadly, sin mars God’s ‘very good’ creation and so we also see the creation of a plan to redeem mankind back to the One True God. This very old book is very relevant to today.
