PATHFINDERS

Leading this generation into true manhood!

Pathfinders is a series of messages for men. The world around us is changing rapidly and not for the better. Men are struggling to find their way. A forest of issues and challenges has grown up around them and there does not appear to be a clear path out. And because men are the way they are, they might not even realize they are lost in that forest and, even if they do realize it, they may not ask for help.

Faith and Mercy! Genesis 43:1-34

Pastor Rick continues a verse-by-verse study through the book of Genesis. Mercy is something every one needs but few people like to admit they need. We continue our study of Joseph and his interactions with his brothers. We can learn a lot about mercy through Joseph. Understanding mercy is will help understand why God calls His people to be merciful. Genesis is the book of beginnings. Within the fifty chapters that make up this fascinating book of the Old Testament God exercises His creative power to bring the universe into existence by simply telling it to do so. Later we will see the creation of a special people with the calling of Abram. The Law is given later. Sadly, sin mars God’s ‘very good’ creation and so we also see the creation of a plan to redeem mankind back to the One True God. This very old book is very relevant to today.
