STRENGTH TRAINING Men's Potluck Breakfast

STRENGTH TRAINING Monthly Men's Potluck Breakfast

God calls all men to be strong, but not as the world defines strength. Every month we gather to take time away from our busy lives to grow in our faith that we might grow to be the right kind of strong.

This is a time of good food, great fellowship, and a teaching that should help us all to grow in our faith.

The STRENGTH TRAINING Men's Breakfast usually happens on the third Saturday of every month. Go to the Upcoming Events Calendar to confirm when the next one is happening.

Pastor Rick Lancaster continues a topical series for men: STRENGTH TRAINING: Growing daily in the things that matter! Everything in life has a spiritual component. Discovering the spiritual component and choosing to live according to the Spirit is the key to a life that produces life and peace rather than death and conflict.

The cost is $10 per man. All men are welcome!

Faith and Separation! Genesis 46:1-34

Faith and Separation! Genesis 46:1-34

Pastor Rick continues a verse-by-verse study through the book of Genesis. In this study Joseph welcomes his family to Egypt and then places them in the frontier area of Goshen far from the center of Egyptian life. What was his reason for doing that and how can we apply that to our lives today? That is what Rick attempts to share in this message. Genesis is the book of beginnings. Within the fifty chapters that make up this fascinating book of the Old Testament God exercises His creative power to bring the universe into existence by simply telling it to do so. Later we will see the creation of a special people with the calling of Abram. The Law is given later. Sadly, sin mars God’s ‘very good’ creation and so we also see the creation of a plan to redeem mankind back to the One True God. This very old book is very relevant to today. Rick is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel French Valley in Murrieta, California. For more information about what is going on at Calvary Chapel French Valley, go to http://ccfv.life.
