RISE UP is a series of messages for men. Life has a way of knocking down God’s men. There is nothing anyone can do to prevent it from happening. But down is not where men are supposed to stay. This series will focus on helping realize the calling that enables them to rise up from whatever might come. And not just rise up but flourish and lead those God set put in their circles of influence. Men of God – RISE UP!
Come to the Monthly Men's Potluck Breakfast and we begin to explore this topic in a practical and life altering way. This is a time of good food, great fellowship, and a teaching that should help us all to grow in our faith.

Pastor Rick continues the series James – Living Right in a Wrong World! Trials and difficult things are inevitable in a wrong way world. Unfortunately, it is not always obvious what we ought to do in the midst of trials. In this message Rick draws out what James tells us we need in the midst of trials and how to ask for it. The world is not the way it should be – it is wrong. It is wrong because most people in the world are not living by faith in God. You can’t be right and be wrong with God. Trials are the inevitable results of a world that is wrong. Trials are unavoidable but they can also be useful if we allow God to do the work only He can do through. The book of James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. The primary theme of James is the relationship between faith and works – between what we believe and what we do. Our goals for this series are to grow in our knowledge, understanding, and experience of God. We also want to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He works to conform us to the image of Christ. And finally, as this world goes the wrong way, we want to learn how to live the right life Jesus died to give us. Welcome to our verse-by-verse journey through the book of James. One of the things the Bible makes clear is that God’s people should not live like the people who do not believe in God. The Bible was given to us by God for the purpose of knowing Him and the right way to live. To live in a way that glorifies God, blesses others, and grows faith. To live any other way is to live the wrong way. Most people in the world around us have chosen to reject God and His Word. We are surrounded by people who have chosen to live the wrong way. It is our hope that we can all learn how to live right in this wrong way world.
