PATHFINDERS
Leading this generation to true manhood!

Due to a facility scheduling conflict July's breakfast has been postponed to the 25th.

Pathfinders - a series for men trying to find their way through a strange world.

Life sometimes feels like walking through an impenetrable forest of issues, struggles, difficulties, interruptions, and distractions. Everything seems to be hindering forward progress. And sometimes the issues of life are so tangled that you can't even tell if you are headed in the right direction.

Well, if you feel that way, you are not alone. Most men are feeling things like that. The answer is not to work hard - to push on through the tangles of life. There is a pathway that leads to the life God created you for. Finding the right path through the forest of our lives may not make the journey easy, but it will be easier and it will result in a life worth living. And as men, God has called us to lead others to the abundant life Jesus promised.

Be engaged! Getting through the forest of our lives must be something that we are deliberate about. We cannot passively wait for someone to carry us out or to do what is need for us. We want to help with that. Click the engage button below and fill out the form it takes you to. We will regularly send words of encouragement and resources to help you find the Pathfinders you need and to be the Pathfinder you are called to be.

ENGAGE NOW!

July's breakfast will not be a potluck - food will be provided!

Come to the Monthly Men's Potluck Breakfast as we begin to explore this topic in a practical and life altering way. This is a time of good food, great fellowship, and a teaching that should help us all to grow in our faith.

The Monthly Men's Potluck Breakfast usually happens on the third Saturday of every month. Go to the Upcoming Events Calendar to confirm when the next one is happening.

Pastor Rick Lancaster is teaching the series: PATHFINDERS: Leading this generation into true manhood!

Come and invite another to come with you.

During the COVID-19 pandemic we will be encouraging people to practice social distancing and wearing face coverings where practical.

The Joy of Knowing Heaven’s Citizenship! Philippians 1:27-30

Pastor Rick continues a series through the letter to the Philippians – The Joy of Knowing Christ! The Bible describes Christian’s as citizens of heaven. In this text Paul challenges his audience to example their life against the cost of their salvation. It is a good thing for all of us to do. From a Roman prison Paul writes of grace, the gospel, and joy. There are many practical things in this short but powerful letter. Scripture References: Philippians 1:27-39

From Series: "Philippians – The Joy of Knowing Christ!"

Philippians is a letter that Paul wrote to a church he was fond of. There is an unmistakable tone of joy in this letter. That is remarkable because Paul wrote the letter while in a Roman prison where one of the possible outcomes was death. Paul looks not to his circumstances for joy and happiness but to his knowledge of Christ. Faith in Christ was the basis for Paul’s ability to experience joy – even in the darkest of circumstances. It doesn’t mean that he enjoyed the hard things of life or that they made him happy. But his knowledge of his Savior enabled Paul to see those things in a way that allowed him to choose joy as his response. Everyone wants to be happy. But let’s be real – sometimes life throws things at us that are not pleasant. The better we are able to put our trust in God and His Word – the more we will experience joy even in the midst of the dark things of life. And then when we experience the things that makes us happy, they will be even sweeter. The main thing is knowing Christ better and better.
