First twins at Soe orphanage

RickAnnouncements, Missions

Calvary Chapel French Valley supports the Soe Orphanage in Indonesia.  Recently, the orphanage welcomed their first pair of twins to the orphanage.  While it is very sad that this need is necessary, it is a blessing that CCFV provides support for STL (Shine the Light International) the missionary agency that aides the Soe Orphanage in their efforts to take in babies whose mother dies in childbirth.  Osa and Osi were born the month of April, and have a home at the orphanage.  God bless the staff as they care for this boy and girl twins, that are being loved in Soe.

Like most of the babies who come into the Soe orphanage, Osa and Osi were orphaned when their mother died during childbirth. Life in that part of the world is hard anyway, it is even harder as an orphan. James said:

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:27

Soe is 8,239 miles from here, so that makes it hard for us to visit. And while we should make every effort to go and be there to support the work of the Soe orphanage, we can also visit them with our finances. Please pray about supporting the work of caring for the orphans with a one-time donation or even better with a recurring gift.
