Daylight Savings Time - Fall Back

Daylight Savings Time - Fall Back

Move your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night, November 5th.

One of the earliest occurrences of the idea of Daylight Savings Time was attributed to Benjamin Franklin in 1784. It is not certain if he was serious about it, but eventually the idea took hold. The idea was to change the clocks to take advantage of daylight rather than use energy to make light.

Obviously, with the rise of modern technology and seemingly endless around-the-clock activity, its usefulness has become the topic of some debate. Regardless of where you stand on the subject, Daylight Savings Time is our reality.
