RISE UP is a series of messages for men. Life has a way of knocking down God’s men. There is nothing anyone can do to prevent it from happening. But down is not where men are supposed to stay. This series will focus on helping realize the calling that enables them to rise up from whatever might come. And not just rise up but flourish and lead those God set put in their circles of influence. Men of God – RISE UP!
Come to the Monthly Men's Potluck Breakfast and we begin to explore this topic in a practical and life altering way. This is a time of good food, great fellowship, and a teaching that should help us all to grow in our faith.

Faith and Tribulation! Genesis 47:1-31
Pastor Rick continues a verse-by-verse study through the book of Genesis. God created all humans to be the objects of His love. He also gave them freedom to choose to love Him back. And if someone chooses not to love He will send things into their life to draw them back into the love relationship He created them for. In this message Rick talks about three things that might stand in the way of intimacy with God and what God might do to remove those stumbling blocks. Genesis is the book of beginnings. Within the fifty chapters that make up this fascinating book of the Old Testament God exercises His creative power to bring the universe into existence by simply telling it to do so. Later we will see the creation of a special people with the calling of Abram. The Law is given later. Sadly, sin mars God’s ‘very good’ creation and so we also see the creation of a plan to redeem mankind back to the One True God. This very old book is very relevant to today.
