Christ in Your Reputation - Colossians 1:1-14

David Rushton begins a series in the book of Colossians: Christ in All. The book begins with Paul repeating what he has heard about the church in Colossae and telling them of his prayers for them. Paul's prayer for the Colossian church serves as a blueprint for us today - the things we can focus on to ensure that our actions align with our faith. Colossians, a letter from Paul to the church of Colossae, offers a beautiful picture of who Christ is. With the knowledge of Christ's preeminence, we are able to face the external pressures on our faith. Paul encourages the reader to put on the new man and to let the knowledge of this newness in Christ guide every aspect of our life. David Rushton is the Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel French Valley in Murrieta, California. For more information about what is going on at Calvary Chapel French Valley, go to http://ccfv.life.
